Trolly ("we", "us", "our") provides this app and website. This Privacy Policy explains what information the Trolly mobile app and website (the "Service") collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We comply with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.

Prices shown in Trolly are gathered from publicly available supermarket sources and are provided for general comparison only. They may not always be current or accurate; always confirm the price in-store. Trolly is an independent service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any supermarket or retailer.

Some of these providers, including Google, store and process information on servers outside New Zealand, including in the United States. Where we send personal information overseas, we take reasonable steps to ensure it is protected by safeguards comparable to those under the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020, as required by Information Privacy Principle 12.

The Trolly website (trolly.co.nz) and the Trolly app both use cookies, advertising identifiers and similar technologies.

You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google Ad Settings, or opt out of third-party vendor cookies at aboutads.info. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking them will not stop you using the site.

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You can ask us to delete your account and associated data at any time (see below).

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information. To request account and data deletion, visit our Delete Account page or email us. We will action verified requests within a reasonable time.

Trolly is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

If a privacy breach happens that is likely to cause serious harm, we will notify the Office of the Privacy Commissioner and the people affected as soon as practicable, as required by the Privacy Act 2020.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
