Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Trolly app and website (the "Service"). By using Trolly, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

Trolly helps you compare grocery prices across New Zealand supermarkets. Prices are gathered from publicly available sources and shown for general comparison only.

2. No price guarantee

We work to keep prices accurate and up to date, but we cannot guarantee they are always correct or current. Prices, availability, and specials change frequently and may differ in-store. Always confirm the actual price with the retailer before purchasing. To the extent the law allows, and subject to your consumer rights in section 7, Trolly is not liable for any loss arising from reliance on the information shown.

3. Not affiliated with retailers

Trolly is an independent service. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any supermarket or retailer named in the app. All trademarks belong to their owners.

4. Your account

If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity under your account. You must provide accurate information.

5. Acceptable use

• Do not misuse, copy, scrape, or attempt to disrupt the Service or its API.
• Do not use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
• Do not attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or data.

6. Intellectual property

The Trolly name, app, and original content are owned by Trolly and protected by law. You may not reproduce or redistribute them without permission.

7. Your consumer rights, disclaimer and liability

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any rights you have under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or the Fair Trading Act 1986 that cannot legally be excluded. If you use Trolly for the purposes of a business, you agree that those Acts do not apply to the extent the law allows.

Subject to those rights, the Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, and to the maximum extent the law allows Trolly is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for loss arising from price inaccuracy, unavailability of the Service, or third party content. Trolly is provided free of charge, and our total liability to you is limited to the maximum extent the law allows.

8. Changes

We may update these Terms or the Service at any time. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand.
